Amazon Prime is teaming up with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to launch "Camp Prime," offering families safe and easy ways to help kids have fun and stay engaged this summer, no matter where they live. The program is free and available to everyone by visiting amazon.com/campprime, and includes easy and fun activities like building an indoor campfire (minus the flames) for an evening of storytelling and S'mores, learning to garden with an uncycled box, STEM ideas and more.
With more than half of Boys & Girls Clubs locations having to temporarily close their doors, to extend summer camp fun to even more kids Amazon is also providing $500,000 in donations to Boys & Girls Clubs, which will help locations across the country offer safe and fun summer activities to youth and families, such as virtual programming options and 'curbside camp' kits available for pickup at select locations.
Families can also take fun to the next level with Amazon Devices by tuning in for a series of guided video tutorials from popular experts for activities such as:
· July 17: Discovering the ins and outs of beatboxing with Joey Klaasen
· July 18: Learning a dance routine with Sherrie Silver
And more!
Videos will launch daily from July 14 to July 18th on the Amazon Day One blog throughout the summer.
