PLAY DATE WITH ART
The Milwaukee Art Museum’s monthly Play Date With Art is set for Friday, April 10, 2015 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The theme for this month’s Play Date With Art is “Float Your Boat.” Activities include a hands-on art project where kids will build their own floatable boats using pool noodles, chopsticks and paper. They will then take to the water to experiment with buoyancy and balance while sailing the boats across shallow, water-filled pools. There will also be Singing Time with sailing songs and music all about water at 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
This program is designed especially for our youngest visitors ages five and under.
Drop in to learn and make art from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 10, 2015.
Windhover Hall, Milwaukee Art Museum, 700 N. Art Museum Drive.
This event is free for members and kids under 12. This is a drop-in program, so registration is not required. Admission throughout the entire month of April to the Milwaukee Art Museum and the Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair exhibition will be $10.
