Haunted Houses and Fun in Milwaukee Area

Looking to get out and scared this fall? We have a guide that will be sure to knock your socks off. There are plenty of haunted attractions in South East Wisconsin. We have never taken the kids, but thinking of finding some mild spooky fun this year to start a fun family tradition!

Waukesha County

Wisconsin Feargrounds-

Located at the Waukesha Expo Center, 1000 Northview Road, Waukesha.
There are three (yes 3!) Separate haunted houses that make up the Wisconsin Fear Grounds! They are celebrating their 10th year and they claim to have taken FEAR to the next level. They are open from October 4th through November 2nd on Friday and Saturday’s and Thursday night admission on the 24th and the 31st.

Terror at 212-
Located at 212 E Wisconsin Avenue, Oconomowoc
Tickets to the Inaugural Year of Terror @ 212, presented by the creators of Haunted High will be $15 for Regular Admission and $23 for Fast Pass Admission (bypass the line!) tickets will be available for sale at 6:30 pm.

In addition to the wildness that the creators of this have imagined every year this year for the ones looking for a terrifying experience, Terror @ 212 will also be open Saturday, October 26 for young people and the timid at heart. Hours will be from Noon - 4 PM (tickets available starting at 11:30 AM) and is in conjunction with Downtown Oconomowoc Trick or Treat Day and the Halloween Parade. This is a special one day event. Good for kids ages 5-12 with an adult. (One adult required per 4 kids) and good for the timid at heart. Great opportunity to glimpse behind the scenes a bit! Tickets are $5.00 for the lights on event.
Opens October 4th until October 26th, from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Friday and Saturday Nights.

Milwaukee County

Spooky Stalks Haunted Cornfield-
Located at 12000 W. Appleton Ave., Milwaukee.
Find your way though the creepy cornfield, into the mausoleum and cemetery. Be careful, as soon as you think something is just a prop, it will show you how alive it really is! Open Friday and Saturday's in October begining the 11th until November 2nd from 7:00 pm until 10:30pm,weather permitting. Admission is only $10

Mars Haunted House-
Located at 734 W. Historic Mitchell St., Milwaukee.
The haunted house takes place in the second story Mars Distributing Inc. building that was built in the 1800's that has a murderous past! The attraction is open starting October 4th on Friday and Saturday's from 7:00 pm until 11:30 pm, also will be open October 20th and 27th from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm and Halloween from 7:00pm until 10:00 pm.
Adult Admission: $13.00, Children under 12: $10.00 (Children must be accompanied by an adult), Group Rates (15+ people): $11.00 per person (Group leader must make single payment for entire group.)

Hauntfest-
Located at Wisconsin State Fair Park, 1200 S. 84th Street, enter at Gate 4.
The scare at State Fair, Hauntfest will prove to be the best place to go for your “fright experience” this Fall! It’s two haunts for the price of one, on two floors– and at 20,000 square feet it’s the largest and only heated Haunt in Wisconsin! It runs from Friday through Sunday begining October 11th until November 2nd, it will also be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays begining October 23rd. Tickets are $15.

Dodge County

Terror On Rural Street-
Located at 147 N Rural St Hartford, Wisconsin 53027
Terror on Rural Street is a 17 room house with many High Tech effects as well as over 30 costumed actors. There is a mix of many Animatronics along with live actors to bring you a new level of fear. There is a heated waiting area and lots of free parking. Open 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm both Friday and Saturday night starting October 4th. Last night is October 26th.

Walworth County

Pearce’s Farm Stand-
Located at W5740 North Walworth RoadWalworth, WI 53184
This cornfield is no field of dreams. It is a field full of your worst nightmares. Beware, because when the sun goes down you never know what might be lurking behind that cornstalk…
This spooktacular hayride takes place in a cornfield on our farm. A group of about 40 people will be boarded on each hayride wagon for approximately 20-25 terrifying minutes as you confront your worst nightmares haunting their cornfield. Opening Night is Sept. 20, 2013 through November 2nd, 2013
Starts at dusk and last ticket for the haunted attractions will be sold at 11:30 pm. Admission is $16.00 per person for “The Haunt”, and $12.00 per person for the “Haunted Field” or $22.00 per person for a combo package of The Haunt and the Haunted Field
