Saturday September 14th
East Town Market-
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Stop by on Saturday mornings throughout the summer months for fresh produce, locally-made crafts, prepared foods, live entertainment and great activities. Over 100 Wisconsin vendors join and sell local goods every Saturday. Cathedral Square Park-520 E. Wells St., Milwaukee, WI 53202
East Side Green Market-
Sept. 14, 2013 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Featuring local grown produce from Milwaukee, local artists, designers, crafts people, sustainable living/growing demonstrations, local food and drinks and great local entertainment. Located in the Beans and Barely parking lot.
Greenfield Farmers Market-
Sept. 14, 2013 10:00 a.m. at Konkel Park, 5151 West Layton Avenue
The Greenfield Farmers Market supports local growers and provides a relaxed, education and fun community gathering place. It aims to improve access to fresh, healthy foods and locally produced goods.
Chili’n on the Avenue-East Tosa
Chili’n on the Avenue is a nationally sanctioned chili cook off taking place on North Avenue in East Tosa, Saturday, September 14th, at 11:00 am. The Chili’n Street Festival will bring entertainment, music, vendors, a specialty kids area and, of course, chili.
The party lasts all month at Old Heidelberg Park in Glendale. Grab your stein and head over for music, dancing, great food including spit roasted chicken and spanferkel. There's a big selection of German beers, games for the kids and parking is free. Don't miss Milwaukee's original and most authentic Oktoberfest. In fact it's one of the best in the country. This celebration of German culture draws guests from throughout the country. It's not fall until you've been to Oktoberfest! $5 at the door.
