Saturday September 7th

Tosa Fest-

Come enjoy a festival filled with food, drinks and fun at this 34 year tradition. Events such as 5K run/walk and fine arts show from local artists will be displayed. Grammy Award Winner Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band will be performing Saturday night. Proceeds support communitiy projects in the areas of education, safety and neighborhood improvement. Admission is free. 10:00am until 11:30pm at Hart Park.

Indian Summer Festival-

Celebrate the 27th year of the largest native festival of its kind in the country. The festival features a Native fashion show, special exhibit on native languages from the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian, canoe rides, tribal farmers market and tradition marketplace. Experience traditional food such as fryebread, buffalo meat, venison, freshwater fish and roasted corn. Return of Brule will provide music while the festival also features cultural crafts such as finger weaving, moccasin making, quil works and pottery. Admission is $12, $10 for elders 60 and overand free for children 12 years or younger.

Family Farm Weekend- Milwaukee Zoo-
Plan your visit to the Milwaukee County Zoo for Family Farm Weekend and experience tractor pulls, cooking demonstrations, great down home music! Regular admission and parking rates apply, but is included if you have a zoo pass.

Autumn Harvest Fest-
Hayrides, pony rides, apple picking and more will all be happening at the Elegant Farmer! They will be open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and the East Troy electric railroad will be running!

34th Annual Frank Mots International Kite Festival-

On Saturday, September 7th, and Sunday September 8th, The Kite Society of Wisconsin and Illinois, and Gift of Wings are presenting the Frank Mots International KITE FESTIVAL ... 35 Years, in Veterans Park on Milwaukee's lakefront. The event will begin at 10:00 am, through 6:00 pm on Saturday and 5:00 pm on Sunday, with the Fast Track GRAND LAUNCH of 600+ kites at NOON! Yes...Now TWO days of high flying fun!! They will also be giving away free kites to the first 100 kids that participate in the Kaplan University "KIDS MAD DASH". Imagine 100 kids launching their kites all at the same time.

Free Admission to Milwaukee County Residents at Milwaukee Public Museum-

General Museum admission is FREE on September 8th for Milwaukee County residents at the MPM.
