Friday- August, 9th

Wisconsin State Fair-

Hours: 8 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.

Join Discover Wisconsin for an all-day celebration of the great Badger State! Stop by Central Park for activities, prizes and food from Discover Wisconsin and its partners.. See hundreds of animals with a walk through the barns or settle down at any of the free stages scattered throughout the grounds..

Admission: $10 adults; $7 seniors ages 60 and up; $6 children ages 6-11; free to children 5 and under.

Wisconsin State Fair-

Hours: 8 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.

Join Discover Wisconsin for an all-day celebration of the great Badger State! Stop by Central Park for activities, prizes and food from Discover Wisconsin and its partners.. Pop up Museum-

Created by Bay View High School and Bradley Tech High School students, will be open to the public on Saturday, August 10. The Pop up Museum will be located within South Shore Park in Bay View, The Observatory inspires visitors and students to see Milwaukee in a bright new way that emphasizes the neighborhood as a significant urban center and economic powerhouse.
The Milwaukee Observatory will be open to the public on Saturday, August 10 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Sunday, August 11 from 11:00 am to 3:00pm.



Make It Yours at JC Penny-Brookfield-

Join JC Penney and Radio Disney AM 640 Milwaukee, part of the #1 radio network for kids, tweens and families, at Brookfield Square on August 10 as they kick off back-to-school with a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family. Exciting activities include a JCP "Make It Yours" customization station where kids can design and personalize their newly purchased backpacks and sneakers, an interactive gaming station, jcpenney gift card giveaways and more! The Radio Disney AM 640 Road Crew will provide interactive entertainment, fun prizes and the hottest music from today's biggest artists.

The special event is a part of jcpenney’s nationwide “Make it Yours” program where shoppers across the United States will receive a complimentary customization kit with purchase of a new backpack or pair of sneakers to encourage kids to personalize their new school gear. Time: Noon-2pm (In the children's department)
