Wisconsin State Fair-

Hours: 8 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.

Join Discover Wisconsin for an all-day celebration of the great Badger State! Stop by Central Park for activities, prizes and food from Discover Wisconsin and its partners.. See hundreds of animals with a walk through the barns or settle down at any of the free stages scattered throughout the grounds..

Admission: $10 adults; $7 seniors ages 60 and up; $6 children ages 6-11; free to children 5 and under.

Milwaukee Air Show-

This is the 9th annual Milwaukee Air & Water Show! It will be a delight for the young, and the young at heart. There will be a Harrier Jet, an A-4 Skyhawk tactical military demonstrations and more ait and water show acts. Make sure you grab your camera and binoculars before heading out. This is a FREE event, but there is reserved seating tickets available. So get there early and pick a space and enjoy the show! Gates open at 9:00am and the show is from 10:00am until 4:00pm. There is a special Kid’s Zone area located along Lincoln Memorial Drive that will have bounce houses, kids games and inflatable rides. The show is held along Milwaukee’s Lakefront.

Sentry Foods Day. Sentry, along with the Wisconsin Beef Council, will be in Central Park offering a wide variety of FREE product and beef samples. UW-Milwaukee Day. Come learn what’s new at UW-Milwaukee. Experience what it’s like to be a freshwater scientist, a meteorologist and a reporter. Milwaukee Public Museum

Milwaukee County residents who show a valid photo Id proving residency can get in free in Mondays at the Milwaukee Public Museum. Additional charges will apply for the Dome Theater, Planetarium and Special Exhibitions.

Milwaukee Domes-

Free admission to all Milwaukee County Residents with proof of residency on Mondays from 9:00 a.m.-12:00pm.

Musical Mondays at Lake Park-

2975 N Lake Park Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53211 Concerts are rain or shine. Musical Mondays concerts are from 6:30-8 p.m. These concerts are FREE and open to the public. All concerts take place at the new Lake Park Summer Stage in Lake Park Picnic Area #3, just south of the playground and tennis courts. The Chicago Rovers with Edgar Gabriel are an lively Gaelic duo who will keep your feet tapping!

Wheel featuring Jelly Belly Kids Mix, Chocolate Dips, Tabasco jelly beans and, for the adventurous eaters…the wild and wacky Beanboozled beans.. .. Tuesday- August 6, 2013

Potawatomi Bingo Casino’s Miracle on Canal Street program is celebrating 20 years of giving the gift of a promising future to thousands of children in our community. .. See hundreds of animals with a walk through the barns or settle down at any of the free stages scattered throughout the grounds..

Chill On The Hill-

August 6 is Kids & Family Night. Nora Collins (Country) / Eagle Trace (Rock), opening act: The Maji will all be taking the stage. Chill on the Hill is an outdoor, summer local music concert series that takes place on Tuesday nights at Humboldt Park. The music begins at 6:00pm!



Skyline Music Series-

RAS Movement will be taking the stage at Kadish Park, a community green space, located in Riverwest with stunning views of the Milwaukee Skyline. It’s a family friendly outdoor concert series running from 5:30pm until *8:30pm.

Jackson Park (picnic area 2)

King Comets Rockin’ Jump Swing Band takes the stage at 6:30pm until 8:30 pm.

Kosciuszko Park

Cache a Caribbean & Latin Mix and National Night Out Celebration will all be happening at Kosciuszko Park from 4:00-8:30 pm.



Wednesday-August 7th, 2013

Wisconsin State Fair-

From 9 am until 4 pm UW–Madison invites you to Central Park for hands on activities, demonstrations, games and more. Experience science as discovery at more than a dozen “Exploration Stations”, or sit back and enjoy musical performances. Test your athletic skills at UW Badger games and activities, and check out Badger trophies like the coveted Paul Bunyan ax... See hundreds of animals with a walk through the barns or settle down at any of the free stages scattered throughout the grounds..

Admission: $10 adults; $7 seniors ages 60 and up; $6 children ages 6-11; free to children 5 and under.

Summer Sounds-

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and head to Hubbard Park,located at 3566 N. Morris Blvd. Food and beverages will be for sale or feel free too bring your own picnic. The music begins at 6:00pm and runs until 9:00pm.!

River Rhythms-

Located in Pere Marquette Park on Old World Thrid Street between Kilbourn Ave and State Street. It runs from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m Real like guitar heroes Greg Koch and John Sieger deliver finely crafted rock and blues

Prairie Farms Dairy invites you and your family to join them in Central Park for fun kid activities with prizes and delicious dairy samples including Cottage Cheese, Ice Cream and Chocolate Milk. Jazz In The Park-

Concerts take place Thursday evenings, 5pm-9pm from June 6 through September 5, in Cathedral Square Park. Music starts at 6pm, but stop by early for Jazz in the Park Happy Hour and get great drink specials from 5-6pm! August 8 - Snarky Puppy will be performing.
