I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
Preparing our kids for back-to-school season means organizing new outfits, purchasing school supplies and maybe buying a new backpack for the upcoming year. While we try our best to send our kids back-to-school as prepared as possible, unfortunately many children fall behind in their education before the school year even starts.
For more than 100 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) has supported the academic success of our nation's youth. Each year, the BGCA helps prepare nearly 2 million kids to succeed in school. From providing quality afterschool programs, a caring mentor or simply contributing notebooks and pencils, BGCA strives to enable all kids to achieve great futures. Whether joining in BGCA's Tools for Back-to-School online supply drive, or rounding up your purchase at jcpenney , BGCA offers a plethora of ways to help every child begin the new school year on the right foot.
I was so excited to be chosen as a Boys and Girls Club Back-to-School Ambassador! I am a huge supporter of all that the Boys and Girls Clubs do for the youth of America! JCPenney has teamed up with BGCA for the JCPenney Cares Round up Campaign. All you have to do is ask to round up your total at your local JCPenney to the nearest dollar and that will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club! 100% of donations raised will go directly to BGCA. What an awesome way to pay it forward and give back to your community.
I am fortunate enough to be able to be there for my children. But, did you know that each day 15.1 million kids are left unsupervised after school? Boys & Girls Clubs are there to provide kids with quality after-school programming to keep them on track to academic success and a great future.
Please consider shopping at JCPenney this back to school season and rounding up your purchase to help ensure that every child starts off the year great!
