A Botanical Garden By Any Other Name
"An internationally renowned horticultural showplace," these 40 acres contain hundreds of annuals and perennials, a stunning rose garden with 500 varieties, and even a serene rock garden for more Zen-like pleasures. Right now, the plums, cherries, almonds, and wildflowers are the main attractions. Take a stroll through the gardens on any Thursday afternoon in July and August and stick around for the free concerts that begin at 6:30 in the evening.
