Have you been to the Urban Ecology Center? They have activities at a few neighborhood parks: Washington Park, Riverside Park, and Menomonee Valley. One activity that I think would be fun on Saturday is the Park Ranger Crew, you meet at Washington Park (from 9am-10am) and will be cleaning up the area. What a great way to Pay it Forward to the environment and get outside with your family! This is FREE but donations are always welcome.
Please make sure you register (they probably want to make sure that people will be coming and that they have enough supplies if there are any. :)
