Piano Lessons In Your
Neighborhood!
Allison Schweitzer is a piano teacher who has recently
moved her studio from the Muskego area to her home
in Wauwatosa (off of 113th and Blue Mound).
Allison earned a BA in Music from Valparaiso University
(’05) and a Master of Music with an emphasis in
conducting from Concordia University in Wisconsin
(’11). She has been teaching piano for over five years.
Her students have ranged in age from 5 to 60-years-old.
She has also worked with special needs students.
In addition to teaching piano, Allison plays and
teaches French horn and enjoys singing. She is a
regular pianist at her home church in Milwaukee, and
plays/sings as a freelance musician for weddings,
funerals, and various other services in the Milwaukee
area. She also works with youth and children’s choirs.
Piano lessons with Allison are weekly and ½ hour in
length.

Specifics about the lessons...
• Lessons are held weekly and are ½ hour in length; each lesson is $20.
• Lessons are paid for on a monthly basis, at the beginning of each month.
• If a student must miss a lesson, as long as there is more than 24-hours notice, the
student/family will not be charged for it.
• Each student/family is responsible for purchasing assigned music books (Allison
will provide all of the necessary information to make this as easy as possible).
• Allison teaches out of the Alfred’s Basic Piano Series. There are also other
supplementary solos and materials that will be used.
• Practice expectations are determined for each student individually based on
age and ability.
• Allison holds a holiday recital for her students at a local nursing home each
January, a more formal recital in June, and will be offering a masterclass for
middle and high school-aged students in October.
• Before beginning lessons, Allison will meet with each student/family for a brief
orientation. There is no charge for this.
