Being a mother to four very young and vibrant younguns is very hectic, which leaves me virtually no time for myself these days. That is why, when the opportunity presented itself, I was thrilled to be able to have a facial done. I had one of these right before my wedding, over eight years ago, and loved it! I am so happy that I was offered to have a facial done for me again as a review opportunity.
Let me start by saying, the beginning of the facial is a little rough. There is a lot that has to be done to cleanse the skin of the impurities. I have my fair share of blackheads, so those were cleaned out. But, oh my goodness...that was worth it for the latter part of the facial. I was able to relax and have a nice hand and facial massage. I could barely get myself up and out of the room to face reality...soooo relaxing!
Naturalis Salon and Day Spa is in a little strip mall on 51 and Howard in Milwaukee. I have passed it several times, but never went in and I am sorry that I didn't. It's a full service salon that offers hair cuts, colors, manicures, massages, facials,...the list goes on! The room in which facials and massages are offered is a little room, but a very relaxing room that puts every worry out of mind as soon as you lay on that table! The nature sound CD that is played quietly helps your drift off into peaceful thoughts...far away from the busy, hectic, mommy schedule.
