My husband has been taking my children to the Milwaukee Auto Show every year now for the past three years! My two older kids LOVE spending that time together with their daddy...and, I enjoy having a little time to myself as he takes them around. I have gone there once with them, but it looks like this year I will be joining them again as I love to see all the new cars and "future concepts" they showcase there!
The 2011 Greater Milwaukee Auto Show is set to pack hundreds of new cars, crossovers, hybrids and more into the Frontier Airlines Center (formerly the Midwest Airlines Center), for nine days of automotive excitement. This extravaganza will feature luxury vehicles, the latest alternative fuel vehicles, specialty displays and more. Attendees are invited to check out all of the newest cars and trucks under one roof in this non-selling environment! Guests can sit behind the wheels, inspect engines and learn about new automotive technologies...I have so many pictures of my children trying out their "new rides!" It's just so much fun and my four year old son is sure to be overcome with excitement when he sees all the famous cars!
This year's show features :
Kid's day -Sunday, March 6- all children under 12 recieve free admission (of course, children under seven are free every day of the show!)
The Daily Cheverolet Magic Show: A magical performance filled with fun tidbits on the latest cheverolet technology including the Volt, the world's first plug-in elecric vehicle.
Several famous TV/Movie cars including the original Batmobile and "DOC HUDSON" from the Disney film CARS and and so much more.
This year the show runs from February 26 - March 6.
Admission to the event is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors (62 and older), $6 for students with ID and $5 for children ages seven to 12. Children six and younger are admitted free.
