Olive You Photography Angel Portrait Session Review and Giveaway!!!!!!!!

I have been so lucky to have a friend who is such a talented artistic photographer!  You may remember a review I did from Amber.  I did this review a while back.  Since then, so many doors have been opened for her!  She has been blessed enough to be able to open up her own studio Olive You Photography out of New Berlin.  Her work is absolutely amazing!

I came into her studio on the day of her open house.  It's all set and ready to go!  Her portraits are amazing and just knowing her and her energy...you will not be disappointed.  She is truly wonderful with children, helping to redirect and get that exact expression that we--as parents--are looking for.  She catches them in the moment!

Since I know her fine quality of work, I was looking for a unique gift for my husband.  It was our 11 year anniversary and I wanted to do something special!  I knew Amber did angel sessions and a light bulb went off in my head.  You see, my husband and I have a unique love story.  We met on a blind date and hit it off immediately!  You know that stuff you see in all the romantic movies when you just know he's the one?  Well, that's how I felt with him when we first met.  He took my breath away!  We were friends for a while and then we started dating.  The rest, as they say, is history!

On that first Christmas he gave me a photographic painting of an angel.  This wasn't just any angel.  I had a dream one night months before and I was scared to tell him about it because we weren't dating for very long and, well...it was about me holding a little girl.  But not just any little girl...OUR little girl.  Normally that would freak most men out, but  not him!  I started telling him about the dream and he stopped me in the middle of my story and HE described this little girl to me.  Detail for detail.  As if he had been in my dream.  That year for Christmas he got me this beautiful painting of an angel and it looked eerily familiar.  She looked like the girl in my dream.  The artist's name was Noel.

Two years after we got married we had our first child--a daughter--named after the artist who created this photographic painting.  This angel photo that we had has always been such a beautiful part of our love story, I couldn't help but share this idea with Amber.  I asked her to recreate this photo of this angel.  I brought the angel painting in and she worked her magic.  This is the end result.  My angel looks quite a bit like the angel in the painting, but she is unique and beautiful in her own light, so Amber showcased that!  When I saw Amber's work, I couldn't help but be overcome with emotion.  But, I was speechless and just felt so moved at this amazing piece of art!  I can't recommend Amber enough!  She is "as sweet as pie" as one of my readers put it and just a breath of fresh air with each interaction.  I love working with her and I look forward to many more photo sessions and being blessed by her professional work!

She was kind enough to offer a giveaway to one very lucky My Milwaukee Mommy reader!  One reader will receive a studio session and gift portrait collection (a $150 value)!

Olive You Photography is gearing up for family portrait seasons! Christmas will be here before we know it and everyone that books in September will get a set of 25 Christmas Cards (5x7 flat printed on both sides)!

We are about to adopt our second child, part of a sibling group from foster care in September. We'd love to celebrate him becoming a part of our forever family with his big sister.
